Lara Croft vs. Zero-Suit Samus
So since I seem to be on a bit of a "hot video game character" kick (I'll stop soon, I promise!), here are 2 classic characters (one of which having a distinct new look) that all the nerds love to drool over.
Lara Croft
Lara Croft is a fictional character in Eidos Interactive's Tomb Raider video game series. She has also been featured in movies (in which she was portrayed by Angelina Jolie), comic books, novels, and a series of animated short films. Lara is presented as an intelligent, athletic woman who travels the world in pursuit of priceless artifacts, encountering many enemies and dangers along the way.

Samus Aran is the cybernetic-suit clad protagonist from Nintendo's Metroid series. Every Metroid game gave players a chance to see this heroin outside of her traditional power suit (which makes her look very androgynous) to show the audience that she is, in face, a very hotly rendered female. In Super Smash Bros. Brawl for the Nintendo Wii, Samus is able to transform into her playable "Zero-Suit" form, where she loses some strength, but gains a whole lot of ass-kicking speed. Samus is widely considered to be one of the earliest and most significant female protagonists in video game history.
