The Original Batgirl vs. Alicia Silverstone's Batgirl
Sexy or sweet?
Do you prefer a classic babe who likes a man with a great utility belt, or an independent woman who isn't afraid to show off her curves? Decide on your girl and you could be checking out the "Bat Cave" before you know it!
The Original Batgirl
Yvonne Craig played the original Batgirl in the 1960's televison series alongside Adam West.
In the show, Batgirl was none other than Barbera Gorden, commisioner Gorden's daughter and love interest to Batman.
Batgirl was a more wholesome, girl next door sort of superhero in this series, though her spandex suit still raised some interested eyebrows. The character was perfectly designed to fit the cheesiness of the series and her "gee golly" antics fit in perfectly with the innocence of the series.
More a classic beauty than a sultry temptress, Yvonne Craig was the perfect 1960's T.V. heroine.

Silverstone played Batgirl in the 1997 film "Batman and Robin" alongside George Clooney and Chris O'Donnell. She shows up on the scene as Alfred's neice who helps the dynamic duo defeat the evil Mr. Freeze and that ever-sexy seductress, Poison Ivy.
As is the rule for any female character appearing in a Batman movie, Silverstone wears a curve-hugging black latex suit that makes us wonder if an ass-kicking from her is really such a bad thing after all.
A far cry from the original Batgirl, Alicia brings a fresh load of sex appeal to Gothem City.
