Tim "THE TOOL-MAN" Taylor vs. Al Borland
Do you think Tim does that grunting thing in bed? Do you think Al will put plastic over the bed so you don't dirty the sheets? Do you think Tim will light the room on fire? Will Al spend half the night crying? All these questions could be answered if only you called in for a little "Tool Time".
Tim "THE TOOL-MAN" Taylor
Tim Taylor, a grunting, accident prone egomaniac, entertained us on television's favorite family sitcom, "Home Improvement" until we were old enough to figure out he wasn't all that funny.
But who wouldn't want Tim? A successful family man, he had Detroit's third highest rated tool show on which he often expressed his feelings about his wife and family instead of fixing all the stuff he routinely broke.
Do you want a grunting Manimal that will carve your kids a Jack-o-lantern with a chain saw? Or cook a Steak with a blow-torch? Well this is the guy for you!

Al Borland is the responsible, sensitive type. Doomed to be the lackey of a grunting klutzo retard, Al became famous with the line "I don't think so Tim", most times resulting in Tim doing whatever he wanted and letting Al know nobody cares what he thinks.
Al took hard knocks most seasons, but eventually ended up getting a girlfriend in the last few seasons, surprising most of us who thought the Martha Stewart antics and the constant references to his mother meant his love for tools went far beyond the garage.
Despite his flaws, Al is the kind of guy you could bring home to mother, even if they will end up giving each other tips on how to bake the flakiest pie crust....
